Colorado Pet Parents

People talk about love languages a lot, and I guess technically, there are like five or something, but I’d like to add another one — bringing people together. There may be some that argue it could fall under quality time, but I disagree 🤣 The actual act of planning and creating events for people to enjoy, and then inviting them to said event, that’s one of my love languages. I truly love creating something for people to do together. Whether it’s a coffee shop hang (one of my personal favs), brunch babes doing their thing (another fav), a dog walk around a new park, or a trip in the middle of nowhere Montana because their is an AirBnB there that’s amazing, these are the things I live for.

Knowing that I can bring like-minded (read, dog lovers) people together to eat, drink, be lazy, explore, pet dogs, or something else, I’m all for it! It’s like event planning, but specifically targeted for humans and their dogs — wait, did I just create a new job??

But in all seriousness, Colorado Pet Parents was born out of a weekend in October 2021 when a planned dog mom weekend turned into so much more. From there, Colorado Pet Parents has grown and I’m excited to see where it goes. We’ve planned events like dog walk around local city parks, hikes in the mountains, sniffspot hangs, and more. But as much as we love our dogs, not all events are specifically targeted for the pups. If I like a dog, chances are, I’d like their human too, so why not try get the humans together for fun things. We’ve decorated dog and human cookies, drank at breweries, frequented coffee shops, started a brunch club, traveled around the US (and Canada!), and more. And guess what? That’s not all. There’s more in store for CPP and I can’t wait to take you along for the ride.

Be sure to follow along and come to one of our events. Colorado Pet Parents is inclusive of all humans and their pups.

See more of what we’re doing.
